I was ready to be all like, “SHIT I AGREE WITH THE FIRST BUT THE SECOND IS BULLSHIT” because even though I abhor Twilight and everything about it, I no longer wish to be the bitch that takes it away from the world (let them eat cake, even if they choose to eat cake laced with arsenic, or so they say). So I’m glad someone said something sensible.
Atreyu - Congregation of the Damned
Atreyu is probably the most “hardcore” I get when it comes to my music. Like, I dunno how hardcore they are objectively, I just know they’re enjoyable and Killswitch Engage (who I tried so, so hard to like) was not, to me. But I really like Atreyu, so hey, that’s my prerogative.
Amberian Dawn’s not my favorite Symphonic metal band, but I like some of their stuff. To be fair, a lot of symphonic metal sounds the same-ish, so I don’t feel the need to have a ton of it in my collection.
